Golden Treasures: Gold Lacquer Boxes

The exhibition features more than two dozen Japanese gold lacquer boxes, including natsume tea caddies and suzuribako writing boxes, from the 19th and early 20th centuries to today.  I look forward to welcoming you to the exhibition and to showing you the beauty of Japanese maki-e lacquer.
